We are moms… not experts or doctors or professionals… just moms. Our opinions are as different as our lives. But we like each other and we love our kids. We’re not here to tell you what to do, we’re just sharing our thoughts- and we hope you’ll share yours, too. We believe YOU are the expert when it comes to your child.
Minivan Mama
Im a stay-at-home mom of 2 kids- the sweetest baby girl in the whole world and her crazy CRAZY big brother. My husband owns his own business, and I spend my days doing laundry, driving kids around in my AWESOME MINIVAN and monogramming every single article of clothing my children own. I’m your stereotypical short-haired, jogging- suit-wearing, coupon-clipping, playdating soccer mom. Except when I’m not.
Working Mama
I’m a thirty something wife, mother, attorney. My husband and I have been together for 12 years- I’m sure this is only because he is as sweet as he is. My daughter is 3.5 (SDS) and my son is 1 (Lil’C). I spend the lion’s share of my time changing diapers, cleaning up spit-up and hollering some variation of “stop-that, don’t pull his hair, quit, no, no, NO!… oh, great.” When I’m not doing those things, I think about how to build an environmental law practice in Tupelo, MS. I fancy myself much more metropolitan than I really am and I don’t care- I refuse to relinquish the dream.
Crunchy Mama
I am a stay-at-home/work-at-home/take-care-of-a-herd-of-dogscatsandchickens-from-home mama to a bouncing baby boy. My days consist of tending my garden, chopping wood, feeding animals, cooking vegetarian meals, laundry and general homesteading… all with a baby on my back. My parenting leans toward the dirty hippie style- baby-wearing, co-sleeping, cloth diapering and holistic medicine. Some days I feel like Super Mom when I get all my chores done, earn a little money, take a shower and keep my boys happy. Other days I don’t get around to brushing my teeth ’til 3 pm. But what is so terrible about that?
