We Three Moms

So I’m planning The Boy’s 4th Birthday Party and I tend to get a little obsessive about these things. I mean, if I had an unlimited budget, THE PARTY I WOULD THROW. But then I have to remind myself that these are CHILDREN and they don’t notice CRAP, and as long as there is CAKE and PRESENTS, the theme could be dentures and they wouldn’t care. Throw in the chance of the birthday kid coming down with some sort of vomit sickness the day of his party, and I realize that throwing a Colin Cowie event for my preschooler is just dumb.

I still like to throw a party, though, and so I am going to have fun (within my budget, hiss boo) and try to throw some creativity into The Boy’s train themed party. I’ve been scouring the internet and I found two blogs that are total. party. porn. I’ve just wasted a lot of time looking at them. You should too.

**Yes, that is the armadilla cake (I know that’s not how you spell it, but that is how you say it… armadill-uh) from Steel Magnolias (THE BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME) and someday I am going to throw a party and the theme is gonna be Bleedin’ Armadilla Cake.
